La fabrication de ces roues mod\u00e8les est couteuse et longue et son instrumentation ne permet d\u2019acc\u00e9der qu\u2019\u00e0 des informations en surface de la pi\u00e8ce. La mise en \u0153uvre de certains proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de fabrication additive, tel que le WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing), peut permettre une avanc\u00e9e significative dans la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 fabriquer des roues mod\u00e8les instrument\u00e9es.
