C\u2019est l\u2019heure du bilan pour Tom Jeannesson, boursier de la Fondation et \u00e9tudiant sportif de haut niveau en 3e ann\u00e9e \u00e0 La Pr\u00e9pa des INP \u00e0 Grenoble. Avec une 14e et 15e place aux Championnats du monde, ces r\u00e9sultats sont tr\u00e8s encourageants, son objectif \u00e9tant d\u2019\u00eatre dans le top 16 cette saison.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Des s\u00e9lections perturb\u00e9es par la crise sanitaire<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour parvenir aux s\u00e9lections pour les Championnats du monde, Tom Jeannesson devait tout d\u2019abord r\u00e9aliser 5 courses en Coupe d\u2019Europe. Mais \u00e0 cause de la Covid, leur nombre s\u2019est r\u00e9duit \u00e0 seulement 2 qui se sont d\u00e9roul\u00e9es lors de la finale \u00e0 Airolo, en Suisse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>\u00ab<em> Avec une 11e et une 14e place, j&rsquo;ai d\u00e9pass\u00e9 mes attentes.. J\u2019ai r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 poser mon meilleur run sur la course la plus importe du circuit europ\u00e9en et ainsi pu acc\u00e9der aux Championnats du Monde Junior.\u00a0 Une exp\u00e9rience inoubliable ! <\/em>\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>En raison de ses probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9, la maladie de Lyme qui l\u2019avaient emp\u00each\u00e9 de courir 2 ann\u00e9es de suite, c\u2019est la premi\u00e8re saison \u00ab normale \u00bb de Tom, m\u00eame si la crise sanitaire a tout de m\u00eame pes\u00e9 sur les championnats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>\u00ab <em>Un moment magique, j\u2019ai pu donner mon meilleur ski<\/em> \u00bb<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>\u00ab <em>Premi\u00e8re course internationale, premi\u00e8re course de nuit, premi\u00e8re course sur un stade olympique, premier passage \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, un moment magique ! Je suis fier d&rsquo;avoir pu proposer mon meilleur ski \u00e0 cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement, sans \u00eatre g\u00ean\u00e9 par la douleur, et suis globalement tr\u00e8s satisfait de ma saison. Ceci me permet d&rsquo;ajuster mes objectifs pour la suite de ma carri\u00e8re, avec en vue une potentielle Coupe du monde avant de recevoir mon dipl\u00f4me d&rsquo;ing\u00e9nieur.<\/em> \u00bb confie Tom.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4>Objectif Championnats du monde avant son dipl\u00f4me<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Ayant la double nationalit\u00e9, Tom Jeannesson court pour l\u2019\u00e9quipe nationale britannique, pour la derni\u00e8re ann\u00e9e en section junior, et r\u00eave d\u2019un podium en Coupe du monde ces prochaines ann\u00e9es. \u00ab <em>M\u00eame si ce n\u2019est pas gagn\u00e9 et qu\u2019un top 5 en Coupe d\u2019Europe serait d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s bien.<\/em> \u00bb<br>Finissant actuellement son cursus am\u00e9nag\u00e9 sur 3 ans gr\u00e2ce au statut sportif de haut niveau, \u00e0 La Pr\u00e9pa des INP \u00e0 Grenoble, il aimerait int\u00e9grer l\u2019ann\u00e9e prochaine Grenoble INP &#8211; Ensimag, UGA ou Grenoble INP \u2013 Phelma, UGA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Le soutien de la Fondation Grenoble INP<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom est boursier de la <a href=\"https:\/\/fondation-grenoble-inp.fr\/en\/\">Grenoble INP Foundation <\/a>depuis 3 ann\u00e9es. \u00ab <em>Je remercie la Fondation de sa confiance et de son soutien durant ces diff\u00e9rentes p\u00e9riodes compliqu\u00e9es.
