Le 7 novembre, Ren\u00e9 Romero Lezama<\/a>, doctorant au sein de la Cellulose Valley Chair<\/a>, a soutenu sa th\u00e8se au LGP2<\/a>* apr\u00e8s trois ann\u00e9es de recherche consacr\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019innovation dans le domaine des emballages durables. Cette soutenance sur la th\u00e9matique \u00ab\u00a0Mat\u00e9riaux multicouche pour produire des solutions d’emballage \u00e0 haute valeur ajout\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019occasion de pr\u00e9senter ses travaux men\u00e9s dans le cadre de la chaire, port\u00e9e par la Grenoble INP Foundation<\/a> gr\u00e2ce au m\u00e9c\u00e9nat de ses 8 partenaires industriels.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Des d\u00e9fis scientifiques pour des solutions durables<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ce projet de th\u00e8se portait sur le d\u00e9veloppement de structures multicouches \u00e0 base de cellulose pour l\u2019emballage actif, explorant deux approches diff\u00e9rentes: la protection antimicrobienne pour l\u2019emballage primaire et le contr\u00f4le de l\u2019humidit\u00e9 pour l\u2019emballage secondaire. L\u2019objectif global \u00e9tait de rendre plus performant les emballages cellulosiques et de leur conf\u00e9rer de nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une nouvelle strat\u00e9gie multicouche avec des papiers ainsi que de proposer des alternatives biosourc\u00e9es, biod\u00e9gradables et recyclables aux plastiques \u00e0 usage unique.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Parmi les r\u00e9sultats marquants, Ren\u00e9 a con\u00e7u des barquettes en carton ondul\u00e9 int\u00e9grant des huiles essentielles, comme le carvacrol issu de l\u2019huile d\u2019origan. Cette approche permet de prolonger la dur\u00e9e de conservation des fraises de 50 %, sans contact direct avec le fruit ni alt\u00e9ration de ses qualit\u00e9s organoleptiques. Une avanc\u00e9e qui r\u00e9pond \u00e0 la fois aux attentes des consommateurs et aux imp\u00e9ratifs environnementaux.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
