Correcting stereotypes about industry, introducing the technologies that are transforming it, and showing how people, the environment and sustainability are now at the heart of industrial strategies: this was the aim of the workshop organised by the ' Industry 4.h '<\/a>chaire , in collaboration with GRETA network<\/a>for vocational high school pupils and BTS students at Lyc\u00e9e Vaucanson.<\/strong><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Exploring Industry 4.0 technologies<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t

During this session, participants learned about major developments in the industry, particularly through Industry 4.0 technologies, and gained a better understanding of how these technologies are transforming industrial professions in practical terms. Two particularly committed teachers, Abdelkrim Najib and Olivier Bastard, accompanied several groups throughout the workshop, contributing to the richness of the discussions and the involvement of the learners.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Opening up to new maintenance professions<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t

The BTS Maintenance students were particularly enthusiastic about understanding how their future profession is evolving within a \u2018smart factory\u2019. They were able to grasp the benefits of transformation technologies, not only in terms of performance, but also in terms of a more responsible approach, where human and environmental issues are fully integrated into industrial decisions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Other sessions will be organised from the next academic year onwards, in collaboration with the GRETA network<\/a><\/strong>in order to continue raising awareness and promoting careers in industry among learners.
