Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu son dipl\u00f4me d\u2019ing\u00e9nieur de Grenoble INP \u2013 G\u00e9nie industriel, Camille Delfaut a enchain\u00e9 sur une th\u00e8se dans le domaine de la plastronique aux laboratoires LGP2* et IMEP-LaHC**.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u00ab C\u2019est la pluridisciplinarit\u00e9 du sujet, \u00e0 la crois\u00e9e de la robotique, de l\u2019\u00e9lectronique et de l\u2019internet des objets, qui m\u2019a d\u00e9cid\u00e9e \u00e0 poursuivre par une th\u00e8se \u00bb<\/em> explique la doctorante. Men\u00e9e dans le cadre de la chaire d\u2019Excellence Industrielle MINT<\/a> port\u00e9e par la Fondation Grenoble INP gr\u00e2ce au m\u00e9c\u00e9nat de l\u2019entreprise Schneider Electric<\/a>, cette th\u00e8se met en effet en \u0153uvre une technologie d\u2019impression d\u2019encres fonctionnelle sur des objets tridimensionnels au moyen d\u2019un bras robotis\u00e9, constitu\u00e9 de trois segments articul\u00e9s autour de six axes (STAUBLI).<\/p>\n

Muni d\u2019une t\u00eate d\u2019impression, le robot industriel est utilis\u00e9 pour dessiner des circuits directement sur la surface de la pi\u00e8ce, en 3D. \u00ab\u00a0Cela permet d\u2019envisager de d\u00e9poser des circuits \u00e9lectroniques au sein de pi\u00e8ces et de bo\u00eetiers plastiques, sans utiliser de circuit sur PCB,<\/em> explique la jeune chercheuse. Ou encore d\u2019ajouter une fonction \u00e0 un objet existant, ou en d\u00e9porter une qui prend de la place.\u00a0\u00bb <\/em>C\u2019est ce que fait actuellement la jeune chercheuse sur des balises de g\u00e9olocalisation avec antenne d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es par la start-up Abeeway<\/a>. Volumineuse, l\u2019antenne est imprim\u00e9e sur le bo\u00eetier pour lib\u00e9rer de la place sur le circuit imprim\u00e9 qui sera occup\u00e9e par d\u2019autres fonctions plus complexes.<\/p>\n

D\u2019autres applications en perspective<\/strong><\/p>\n

La th\u00e8se n\u2019en est qu\u2019\u00e0 ses d\u00e9buts, et l\u2019une des premi\u00e8res \u00e9tapes a consist\u00e9 \u00e0 mettre au point l\u2019impression de p\u00e2tes conductrices ainsi que les moyens de recuit associ\u00e9s sur des substrats thermoplastiques en 3D. \u00ab\u00a0Nous tenterons \u00e9galement de trouver des alternatives \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tuve, incompatible avec certains substrats plastiques. D\u2019autres solutions, telles que le laser ou les infrarouges, sont envisag\u00e9es dans cette perspective.\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n

Outre les antennes pour balises GPS, Camille se penchera sur la conception et la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019autres composants et architectures \u00e9lectroniques tirant partie du potentiel de d\u00e9p\u00f4t multi-mat\u00e9riaux et de la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie tridimensionnelle du support.<\/p>\n

Les pistes et composants seront imprim\u00e9s et caract\u00e9ris\u00e9s, d\u2019abord en 2D au sein des laboratoires de Schneider Electric, LGP2<\/a> and IMEP-LaHC<\/a>, puis en 3D sur la plateforme CIM de S.mart Grenoble-Alpes<\/a> dans une optique de performance, de fiabilit\u00e9 et de long\u00e9vit\u00e9. Les possibilit\u00e9s offertes par cette voie 3D en termes de conception \u00e9lectronique et d\u2019architecture de syst\u00e8mes pour des applicatifs IoT-Industriel seront ensuite explor\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
