Si l\u2019on consid\u00e8re d\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9 les importantes modifications que connaissent les littoraux dues au changement climatique, et de l\u2019autre l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat certains que repr\u00e9sentent ces zones pour nombre d\u2019activit\u00e9s humaines, il appara\u00eet que la pr\u00e9diction de l\u2019\u00e9volution morphologique des c\u00f4tes (\u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9chelles de temps) est un enjeu majeur. Pour y r\u00e9pondre, plusieurs mod\u00e8les grande \u00e9chelle (comme XBeach) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s. L\u2019inconv\u00e9nient de ces mod\u00e8les est que les processus de fines \u00e9chelles tels que ceux se produisant tr\u00e8s proche de la plage dans la zone de jet de rive, et en particuliers le transport s\u00e9dimentaire, sont encore mal mod\u00e9lis\u00e9s. R\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette probl\u00e9matique passe par l\u2019\u00e9laboration de nouveaux mod\u00e8les multiphasiques (bi-fluides) permettant de prendre en compte ces diff\u00e9rents processus fins. Ces nouveaux mod\u00e8les doivent permettre de mieux comprendre les processus physiques \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre, et ainsi, am\u00e9liorer les formules de transport de s\u00e9diments des mod\u00e8les grande \u00e9chelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project objective :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019objectif de ce projet est d\u2019\u00e9tudier les m\u00e9canismes physiques en jeu dans la zone de jet de rive. Nous chercherons en particuliers \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux 3 questions scientifiques suivantes :<br>\u2022 Quels sont les effets de la perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 de la plage sur la dynamique du jet de rive ?<br>\u2022 Quels sont les m\u00e9canismes physiques pilotant le transport s\u00e9dimentaire dans la zone de jet de rive ?<br>\u2022 Comment am\u00e9liorer les mod\u00e8les grandes \u00e9chelles int\u00e9gr\u00e9s sur la profondeur (type XBeach) pour mieux pr\u00e9dire l\u2019\u00e9volution morphologique des littoraux ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Publications associated with the project :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gmd.copernicus.org\/articles\/18\/1561\/2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A.
