Subsidies

Encourage students who are committed to developing high-impact projects.

This assistance takes the form of financial support, as well as guidance aimed at strengthening the project and maximizing its impact.

These grants are intended to support:

• student organizations that carry out projects reflecting the values of commitment, solidarity, innovation, and sustainable development;

• Students taking a gap year who wish to undertake a project with significant academic, professional, social, or environmental impact.

"The idea of taking a gap year to make a documentary took shape through discussions and inspiring encounters. However, I quickly realized that the budget would be a major obstacle to giving this idea the scope I wanted. The grant from the Grenoble INP Foundation was a huge help in getting the project off the ground: it allowed me not only to access high-quality equipment but also to prioritize eco-friendly travel. Thanks to this support, I was able to travel across Europe by train to meet fascinating artists and scientists, organize film shoots, and produce a film at the intersection of scientific research and artistic creation."

Everything You Need to Know About Grants

Eligibility Requirements

For community projects

• The organization leading the project must be registered with the prefecture;

• The organization must be a student association or club at Grenoble INP – UGA;

For gap year projects

• Be a student at one of the schools within Grenoble INP – UGA;

• Have the necessary authorization to take a gap year;

• Submit a clearly defined project with significant academic, professional, social, or environmental impact.

Procedure

For community projects

• Submit an application on the dedicated platform;

• Outline the project’s objectives, expected impact, and projected budget;

• Participate, if necessary, in a discussion with the Foundation’s teams.

For gap-year projects

• Submit a well-prepared application detailing the project;

• Present a project that has a meaningful impact.

Documents to Submit

For community projects

• Project presentation (brochure, PowerPoint presentation, etc.)
• Detailed budget
• The nonprofit’s articles of incorporation and/or bylaws
• Receipt from the prefecture
• The nonprofit’s annual report (not required if the organization is newly established)
• Original bank account information for the association

For gap year projects organized by an association:

• Project presentation (brochure, PowerPoint presentation, etc.)
• Detailed budget
• Articles of incorporation of the association
• Receipt of registration from the prefecture
• Original bank account information for the association
• Activity and financial report (not required if the association was recently established)

For gap year projects led by individuals:

• Detailed presentation of the gap year project, including its objectives and expected impact
• Complete projected budget
• Composition and roles of the project team (if applicable)
• Bank account information for the student submitting the application
