Julia Pescheux-Sergienko, a doctoral student in the Cellulose Valley research group

Project focus : To deepen understanding of cellulosic materials and train skilled, multidisciplinary researchers

Project leaders : Julien Bras, Julia Pescheux-Sergienko, René Romero Lezama

Organisations associated with the project : Grenoble INP – Pagora, UGA

The project :

The Cellulose Valley Chair is hosted by the LGP2 laboratory at the Grenoble INP – Pagora campus of the University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA). This fosters a strong and close relationship between the Chair’s research team and engineering students. It also enables the development of joint projects that benefit all parties involved.

Expected results :

  • Preparation of technology and economic trend reports on topics related to the use of cellulose in the packaging industry.
  • Implementation of joint projects between the chair’s research team and courses offered to students at Grenoble INP – Pagora, UGA.
  • To enhance future engineers' expertise and their understanding of cellulose.
