On February 4 and 5, 2026, Grenoble INP Foundation participated in the third edition of Tech&Fest, alongside Grenoble INP – UGA and its affiliates: IN’Partners, Grenoble INP – Formation Pro, Unite!, ' S.mart Grenoble Alpes, Esynov, Grenoble INP Alumni and Grenoble INP Entreprise. Two intense days dedicated to networking, knowledge sharing, and exploring opportunities for collaboration within the Grenoble ecosystem.
Gathered at a shared booth, representatives from the fields of education, research, innovation, and partnerships highlighted the breadth and complementary nature of the expertise offered by Grenoble INP – UGA. This collective presence facilitated numerous discussions with visitors, demonstrating the dynamism and commitment of the Grenoble campus to major societal transitions.
Activities to learn about the projects
Throughout the trade show, a variety of activities allowed visitors to immerse themselves in the initiatives supported by the Foundation.
An interactive touchscreen game invited visitors to explore the chairs of excellence supported by the Foundation: Cellulose Valley, Électronique Durable, For Libra, ' Industry 4.h ' and Smartgrids. It was a fun way to gain a better understanding of the scientific, industrial, and environmental challenges addressed by these programs.
The Cellulose Valley Chair also presented prototypes of eco-designed cellulose-based packaging, providing a concrete illustration of the sustainable alternatives developed as part of its work.
Students also led the serious game "The Energy Limbo", designed as part of the Smartgrids Chair, to raise awareness of energy challenges and the mechanisms that structure the electrical grid.
Finally, student entrepreneurs presented the tool Ailog, , demonstrating the entrepreneurial vitality of Grenoble INP – UGA and its students’ ability to turn their ideas into concrete projects.
Memorable highlights
This edition of Tech&Fest also featured several key highlights.
The launch of the Phelma Executive Club, co-organized with Grenoble INP – Phelma, UGA, marked an important step in strengthening ties between alumni, the school, and the laboratories.
A conference dedicated to sustainable electronics, followed by theof the Electronique Durable Chair, highlighted the challenges and solutions for training tomorrow’s engineers in sustainability issues.
Finally, the meeting between Luc Julia, co-creator of Siri, and the students of Grenoble INP – UGA sparked rich discussions on artificial intelligence and the technologies of tomorrow.
